How to get to MTYC
By road or on foot
The Club has no actual road access, the nearest you will be able to get is parking at or near The Weir Hotel on the Walton side or in the Walled Garden or nearby on the Sunbury side. For those devoted to Tom Tom or similar the postcode of the nearby lock is KT12 2JD but only blue badge carrying vehicles are permitted to park at the lock.
If you have parked in Sunbury telephone the club and the weekend Duty Officer will be pleased to arrange for the club ferry to pick you up from Kings Lawn.
By boat (much more fun!)
Middle Thames is located in the weir stream of Sunbury Lock, on Sunbury Lock Island. We are approximately 2 hours upstream from Teddington Lock and 5 hours downstream from Windsor. Visitors are welcome but it is wise to call in advance if you wish to visit and advise the Officer Of the Day. This is especially wise if you have a larger boat.
